Registration API operational · one hostname per verified purchase

What this is

A free subdomain for people who bought Dynamic Decks and don't own a domain.

Dynamic Decks can turn YouTube links into playable tracks. That runs through a resolver on your machine, and a resolver needs a hostname to get an HTTPS certificate. Buying a domain for one hostname is a silly prerequisite for playing music, so we removed it.

Press ENTER at the domain prompt during install and the installer registers a name under this domain against your Tebex transaction. DNS propagates, a certificate issues, and the resolver comes up. You never touch a registrar.

What travels through us

The name. Nothing else.

No audio, media, or YouTube traffic is hosted, transmitted, cached, or processed by Dynamic Scripts. Every byte your players hear is served from your machine to your server. We answer a DNS query with your address and that is the end of our involvement.

This is worth being precise about, because it's the part people assume works the other way.

Getting one

Capacity is real: registration is best-effort, roughly fifty new names a week. If you're deploying something you depend on commercially, use your own domain.

Acceptable use

Decks DNS provides name resolution only, for verified Dynamic Decks installations.

Something wrong with a name

Open a ticket in our Discord with your transaction ID and the hostname. Certificate and propagation issues are usually resolved the same day.
